Our Story
Every rider has experienced it—tack rooms overflowing with unused gear, struggling to find the right equipment, and worrying about dishonest sellers. We’ve faced these frustrations ourselves and knew there had to be a better way.
We are two young mothers and a student, united by our passion for horses and our determination to make equestrian life easier. With honesty at our core, we are building a platform where buying and selling feels safe, seamless, and fair.

Greta Kazlauskaitė – Co-Founder
For Greta, horses have always been more than a passion—they’re part of who she is. From riding and competing in her early years to coaching as a teenager, she’s always found her way back to the stables. Though life pulled her away from riding, she never lost her love for the sport. Inspired by her growing awareness of sustainability and a promise to lead by example for her daughter, Greta took a leap of faith and started Sell-a-Tack. Now, she’s dedicated to building a platform that reflects her values: honesty, responsibility, and the courage to follow your dreams.
Gedvilė Mažeikytė – Co-Founder
Since 2012, Gedvilė has been an avid rider and is the proud owner of two remarkable mares. She understands the struggles of buying and selling tack firsthand—having faced challenges on mainstream platforms that restricted equestrian gear sales. Seeing a gap in the market, she was driven to help create Sell-a-Tack, a dedicated platform designed for riders. With a background in coding, marketing, business analysis, and aviation, she plays a crucial role in expanding SecondRide’s reach, developing strategies, and ensuring its success in the equestrian world.
Dovilė Komar – Co-Founder
Dovilė has spent few years working as a rider across Europe and holds a degree in Equine Business Management from the UK. As both a trainer and rider, she understands the challenges riders face when buying and selling equipment. Her vision for SecondRide is to eliminate fraud, create an affordable marketplace, and build a trusted community where equestrians can support one another. As a mother and rider, she is passionate about proving that balancing family life and a professional riding career is possible.
